India faces fierce competition against China and the rest of Southeast Asia, tense sentiment towards Pakistan and a turbulent year in the Kashmir region are the major problems that India needs to deal with. While the turmoil is looming over India, the Coronavirus has just spread in the world's second-most populous country.
While corporations seek to diversify their production lines, we have yet to see any actions taken. The uncertainties make it difficult for India to seize the opportunity and become the world's new factory.
